Message in a Bottle

Have you ever found, or imagined the thrill of finding a message in a bottle washed up on shore? What could it say? Who and where could it be from? Why was it sent? And how would you respond?

And can you imagine feeling compelled to write such a message, and with a leap of faith, pop it in a bottle and cast it into the sea?

A “message in a bottle”, with the emotions that surround it; fear, vulnerability, optimism, hopefulness and a belief in human kindness; becomes metaphor for our predicament now, as the planet that supports us is in dire need of rescue and recovery from our unsustainable practices.

What do you need? What would a rescue look like to you?

Write a message, put it in a bottle, toss it into the water. Make contact.
